Trophy and Award Dealers

Decades ago, trophy and awards were sold from sporting good stores.  Specialty Trophy and Award Stores grew from that with more custom engraving and more variety offered. Computer controlled engraving became a boon for such stores and consumers alike. Like most products, the internet has become an alternative method for consumers to buy trophy and awards. Aaron's is a family owned business and has been manufacturing wood plaques for the trophy and award stores since 1979. However other kinds of customers have evolved as shown here.

Memorabilia

Photos of popular figures such as sports players, movie stars, band members, singers, etc., are easily mounted on Award Plaques with CAPS (Clear Acrylic Plates with corner holes) from Aaron's as protective covers over the photos.

Plaque Tacks secure the photo and CAP without damaging the photo.

Government Agencies

GSA contracts with government specifications have been held by Aarons for many years which led to other Government offices purchasing Certificate Kits directly from Aarons.

Photographers

Sports Photographers buy acrylic holders mounted on plaques known as Photomates or Memorymates.

Organizations

United Way and many other organizations buy components or turnkey certificate programs from Aarons.

Gift Market

Wood plaques can easily be decorated to make them attractive and popular for any particular area or event. They make excellent gifts for tourists because they can be adapted to a specialized market in small or large quantities by simply adding a photo or post card.
